Chain O’ Lakes State Park: East Hike
The southern section of this hike loops run through some of the busier sections of the park. This hike also brushes up against Grass Lake and runs through dense, hilly woods.
The northern section of the trail runs through big swaths of prairie.
The two north loops are notable for hilltop views, quiet prairies, and a brief rendezvous with the river.
The northern part of the trail also traces the bank of the Fox River.
