Goodenow Grove Hike
- Goodenow offers a mix of bottomland woods and open savanna.
- Early in the hike, the trail pulls alongside a 40-foot-deep wooded ravine carved out by Plum Creek.
- The 1-mile loop section of the hike guides you along a wide, mowed path that runs through open space sprinkled with pines, oaks, apple trees, and shrubs.
- Climbing a gradual hill, you’ll have a nice view of the landscape of shrubs, thickets, and woods.
- On the final section of the hike, the scenery gets wetter as you pass viewing platforms overlooking marshy areas and a small pond.
